It snowed this weekend, so I took a few shots of figures who I thought would look nice in the semi frosty(I didn’t get out until a good bit had melted) wonderland.
I keep photographing Tsurumaru in front of white things, but it’s good contrast, so JUST TRY TO STOP ME.
Howdy howdy! Today I felt like taking a few photos. I needed someone who would look good outside, and wanted to use a newer figure, so I went with Kirito and Asuna. I ended up with mostly shots of Kirito, but hey!

It was surprisingly warm today, so I thought it a good opportunity to play with one of my newest figures: Caster!
I’ve wanted a Caster figma for years, so finally having one is a dream come true! I plan to get the nendo as well when I can.
I take most of my pictures outdoors, so winter is always a dry spell since there’s not much interesting out(snow comes not until January and February–if at all). However, the colorless grass and bright sun do make for an interesting backdrop which worked just fine for Caster. Winter light also has a uniquely pure brightness to it.
Caster is on my list of top favorite characters, so I hope I made her shine!
The figma very pretty, but her elbows are a pain to pose. Her arms are also very limited which is a shame since she’s a mage who performs magic mostly by moving…
I have not had the chance to take many photos in the past few months, but I did a few shoots that were oddly all during cloudy weather.
So let’s um…look at them!
I feel like most of my Natsume pictures are underwhelming. Like he looks good but that’s because he’s a good looking figure. It’s not really bad. That’s just how it is. My only photos of him that I feel are exceptional are those of him in the yellow flowers. 
Actually, this one isn’t bad.
I’ve yet to give Lucina a dedicated shoot. I’ve just been pulling her out while shooting pretty scenery, but it’s working so far. I need to focus more on her super cool sword fighting side. Too bad I’m terrible with fighting poses. 
Colors not working out? Just do some funky editing and pretend it was intentional! Seriously most of my black and white photos are ones where the colors didn’t work. Black and white photography is an art in itself though, so ONE DAY I’ll give it some practice.
A personal favorite!
Ah I’ve hardly played with or talked about my Touken ranbu nendoroids, but I can assure you that they are WORTH IT. 
These nendoroids are so well done and detailed, and their colors are bright and bold, and their faces are so elegant *sob*
And they have plenty of sideways glances! You all know how I feel about those! 
Jiiji is my favorite character they’ve made into a nendoroid so far. I really want Yamatonokami Yasusada!
It’s undeniable that I went through a buy now think later phase with figure collecting last year which resulted in a lot of impulse buys. One was nendoroid Alice Cartelet here who I know NOTHING about. But you know what? I regret nothing with this purchase. I mean look at that face! And those big puffy pigtails! And the pastels! It’s like she was made for me!

It’s that time of the year again: Wonderfestival! Where paychecks are spent before we even have them!
Wonderfestival unites the figure industry for the sole purpose of trapping us in this hobby for at least another six months. Figures of all kinds are shown, but what is important to us today is figmas. And with companies like FREEING, Phat, and now Orange Rouge branching out to make figmas along with Max Factory, we have a lot to look at.
As is the usual routine with Figma News Fridays during Wonderfestvial, we will cover everything at the event beginning with announcements, then unpainted prototypes, and finally painted prototypes. I will include whatever opinion I have along with series information, what I know about release dates and pricing, and whatever other helpful information I can find. There’s a lot to look at, so let’s get started!

Miyo Asato: Tactical System Uniform Girl Announced
Manufacturer: Tomytec
Origin: Little Armory
Google searches of Miyo Asato returned the entry on MFC and tombstones, so I don’t think there is much about her. Little Armory is what the Tomytec 1/12 weapons were released under, so I can only assume that Miyo is a character created for their line. She may also be Yuki Nagato’s sister.
