January is already behind us, and this last week was delightfully slow. But that’s only because Wonderfestival awaits! But while the silence lasts, let’s get started!
Monday
Satsuki Kiryuin Preorders Begin
From the popular anime series ‘KILL la KILL’ comes a figma of Honnouji Academy’s student council president, Satsuki Kiryuin!
Using the smooth yet posable joints of figma, you can act out a variety of different scenes.
A flexible plastic is used for important areas, allowing proportions to be kept without compromising posability.
Expressions include a glaring face, a shouting face perfect for combat scenes and the gentle smile she occasionally showed.
Her sword ‘Bakuzan’ is included and also comes with a scabbard part to display her with the weapon sheathed.
A Scissor Blade is included in both its standard form and in Decapitation Mode.
A special joint is included to connect the Scissor Blade to the one included with figma Ryuko Matoi, creating a pair of scissors!
A paper cut-out of some One-Star Goku Uniform students is included to display with her.
An articulated figma stand is included.
Satsuki retails for 6000 yen and is scheduled for release in August

Here I go again, but 6000 yen?! Thankfully store bonuses cut the price down(I preordered Satsuki for a barely fathomable 4960). Although the bonus shards of Bakuzan are a neat bonus, I would not spend the extra 4000 yen to get them(2000 because of no discount + 2000 for shipping).
But aside from the expensive bonus, and high price tag, Satsuki looks great! The shockingly skimpy Junketsu has been recreated just as well as with Ryuko, and her faces are perfect. We also have the option to complete Ryuko’s scissors and an awesome cutout of the one star students. I of course hope we get regular versions of Satsuki and Ryuko along with other characters like Nui and Mako, but as is, Satsuki is everything she needs to be.
Thursday
Yuusuke Makishima Preorders Begin
From the anime series ‘Yowamushi Pedal: GRANDE ROAD’ comes a figma of the ‘Peak Spider’, Yuusuke Makishima!
Using the smooth yet posable joints of figma, you can act out a variety of different scenes.
A flexible plastic is used for important areas, allowing proportions to be kept without compromising posability.
He comes with a standard grinning expression, a condescending expression as well as a serious expression for climbing slopes.
His drink bottle is included for him to hold, and a partly pre-painted plastic model kit of his bike is also included.
An articulated figma stand is included, which allows various poses to be taken.
Yuusuke retails for 5741 yen and is scheduled to release in July.

Yusuke is the second Yowamushi Pedal figma, and he looks smug as heck. In a good way of course. Just look at those faces! I wish I had a reason to get him.
