From the popular Nintendo 3DS game ‘Fire Emblem: Awakening’ comes a figma of Lucina, the character who comes from a ruined future.

Using the smooth yet posable joints of figma, you can act out a variety of different scenes.
A flexible plastic is used for important areas, allowing proportions to be kept without compromising posability.
She comes with both a confident staring expression as well as a gentle smiling face.
Alternate hair parts allow you to display her as she looked disguised at the start of the game.
Her cape can easily be attached and removed.
Special handle parts can be attached to the scabbard, allowing you to display her with her falchion sheathed.
An articulated figma stand is included, which allows various poses to be taken.
Lucina retails for 6296 yen and will be available in April 2015.

I’ve heard that Fire Emblem: Awakening is one of the best games on the Nintendo 3Ds, and with two GSC and co. figures to its name(GSC’s Tharja scale was the first), Fire Emblem is surely faring better in the figure world than other handheld properties. Still, my myriad of projects has kept me from giving Fire Emblem a try, so I’ll have to look at Lucina objectively.

Even knowing nothing about Lucina, it’s undeniable that she is an attractive figma. The lanky and nondescript body shape is a change from usual female figmas, and her rich coloring is marvelous. I was also quickly drawn in by her gentle smiling face. Just when Lucina was looking to be one of my first impulse buys in ages, I saw her price.

Every time I mention a figma’s price, I say it will be the last time I do, but soon a new and even more expensive figma comes along. At 6296 yen, Lucina is ridiculously expensive for a standard figma, and no matter how beautiful she is, there’s no way I could justify that impulse purchase.

I’ll be passing on Lucina.

That wraps up this week’s news! Is your December storm beginning with either of the released figmas above? What about Lucina? I know that many have been waiting for her!

  1. I’ve never played FE:A, but Lucina’s nose… It’s so beatiful .o. It’s nice to see different face shapes on figmas without them looking weird
