Figma News Fridays 8/1/14

Welcome to FNF where the “F” stands for “finally”! I was quite busy this last week with finals and papers, but now have two weeks of freedom! It’s not total freedom because I do plan to work as much as possible, but at least I’ll feel no guilt when doing whatever I want in my free time.
Thankfully, this past week was not a busy one for figmas though. We have just one preorder, a release date announcement, and a reminder, so let’s get started!

Saori Takebe Release Date Announced

Wednesday

Guyver I Preorders Begin

Origin: Bio Booster Armor Guyver

Using the smooth yet posable joints of figma, you can act out a variety of different scenes.
A flexible plastic is used for important areas, allowing proportions to be kept without compromising posability.
The chest area can be opened and closed and careful thought has gone into all points of articulation to allow for action poses similar to those from the series.
A number of different hand parts as well as his High Frequency Vibration Sword, Unit G are all included.
An alternate chest part is included to pose him using the Pressure Cannon.
An articulated figma stand is included, allowing various poses to be taken.
Guyver retails for 4815 yen and will be available in November 2011

Guyver is one of those figmas we saw quite some time ago who appeared to have been forgotten. He is not finally available for preorder. I of course have little to say, so I’ll let those of you who ar interested in Guyver voice your opinions!
Also, check out that chest accessory! It looks like Guyver and Adult Mikuru are the two figmas capable of public indecency.

It is already August 3rd, so do not forget that tomorrow August 4th is the last day to preorder figma Kaga and Levi Cleaning version for retail price at GSC’s shop. If you haven’t already, be sure to get your order in before then! I already have a Levi secured!
