Another round of Figma News Fridays! I had more posts planned for this week, but instead ended up…giving the blog a makeover! The old color scheme was there for a while, so I added more color this time which hopefully isn’t too distracting. I’m not entirely happy with how the header turned out yet, but think it’s ok for now. As far as figma news goes, this week started off with a boom, but quieted down to nothing near the end. But it’s still better than nothing. So let’s get started!
Miho Nishizumi Preorders Begin
From the anime series ‘Girls und Panzer’ comes a figma of the Ankou Team’s commander, Miho Nishizumi!
•Using the smooth yet posable joints of figma, you can act out a variety of different scenes.
•A flexible plastic is used for important areas, allowing proportions to be kept without compromising posability.
•She comes with a gentle smiling expression, a slightly worried expression and a shouting expression.
•Optional parts include her microphone, binoculars, and alternate hair parts wearing a headset.
•A commander’s seat and tank cupola are also included.
•An articulated figma stand is included.
Miho retails for 4800 yen and will be available in April 2014.
There sure are a lot of figmas scheduled for April!
For what has the potential to be a boring moe figma, Miho is rather awesome. Not particularly because of her sculpt or faces(which are still solid), but for her amazing tank accessories which even includes the commander’s seat and cupola of the tank itself. Miho and her team members were actually displayed in a full tank when they were announced which has bred some speculation about the other girls coming with parts to complete the tank, but with large parts needed and the obstacles of packaging them, we can only wonder for now.
Because I’m not familiar with Girls und Panzer(only in Japan), I’ll be passing on Miho.
That’s all for this week! Next I’ll be posting about some Dollfie Dream clothing I’ve sewn!
